At 6:00 pm on 9 June 2005, five members of the City Guiding Group for software licensing came to visit Shide. The group was led by Mr. Yan Xiaohong, Deputy Chairman of the Copyright Bureau. The group was accompanied by the city’s government officials.

Mr. Li Lingui, Vice President of Shide, and Mr. Linan, Assistant to the President of Shide, met the guests and introduced to them the use of licensed software and computerization of Shide Group. The officials highly appreciated the work done by Shide and would consider to make Shide a demonstration site to which both capital and policy support would be provided. The guests then visited Shide’s computer centre as well.
