On Nov 30, the 3rd praising conference of China employment and social welfare protection was held at the Peoples’ Great Hall. Many top government officials, like the committee members of the Central Political Bureau, the vice-prime minister of the National Affairs Zhang De-jiang, the chairman of the Executive Council, chairman of the Industrial and Commercial Federation Huang Meng-fu, the Federation’s vice-chairman Sun An-min, head of the Human Resources and Social Protection Yin Wei-min, vice-chairman of the National Workers’ Union Wang Jiong, had attended the great event and presented the honours to the most caring companies. And Shide Corporation’s vice president Jia Yue-xiang had attended the ceremony.

 

During the occasion, Zhang De-jiang made an important speech. He pointed out that after many years of opening up and reforms, the private sector has been developing rapidly. Their size and number have been increasing continuously. Their great competitiveness has become an important economic force to tackle many social problems like the current International Financial Crisis. Many private enterprises have overcome a lot of difficulties to keep their production so as to provide enough jobs for their employees, to fulfill their social responsibilities and to provide harmonious relationships between companies and employees. All in all, the private enterprises have made great contributions towards sharing the burden of the central government, and making more social development and stability.
